McLean, Va.–September 9, 2010–Cognosante (www.cognosante.com) announced today that Thomas S. Stepka has joined Cognosante as the company’s Chief Administrative and Financial Officer. Mr. Stepka was formerly Senior Executive of Finance at Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., a Xerox Company.  There he was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, directing and controlling all financial activities for the Municipal Solutions and Local Enterprise Solutions Group.  Prior to that, he was a key member of the management team  at Integic. “He brings a wealth of experience in successfully building businesses, and we look forward to his leadership to help us achieve strong growth,” said Michele Kang, Cognosante’s Chief Executive Officer. “He is another addition to our vibrant executive team that will lead Cognosante for years to come.” Reporting to Cognosante’s CEO, Tom will be responsible for corporate administration, human resources, and finance in support of clients and employees in more than 20 states. “Cognosante is the right company at the right time for government healthcare clients, and I’m here to assist our clients and employees to be successful.” Mr. Stepka will be based in Cognosante’s McLean office.
