DESCRIPTION
We have an immediate need for a Health Insurance Exchange (HIX) Capture Manager to join our Business Development team. The Capture Manager will develop and execute strategies and plans for opportunities/pursuits as assigned by the Chief Business Development Officer (CBO) and is accountable to successfully execute winning capture strategies. Experience with the capture life-cycle is essential for this role. Also, the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment is a must. The HIX Capture Manger will lead the development, implementation and successful execution of capture plans and strategies. Accurately/objectively develops and validates facts with analysis and presents the opportunity business case at management reviews to facilitate business decisions by management.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to contribute to the growth of our HIX contracts. This person will be responsible for identifying pursuit opportunities and developing capture strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
(Include but not limited to)
- Must have a healthcare background and knowledge of current legislative drivers.
- Contribute to and execute corporate development strategies.
- Competitive intelligence analysis, teaming, solution (technical, management, Price)
- Participates in opportunity identification, bid decision, to final submission.
- Coordinate capture teams, and participate in pre-proposal review teams (Blue Team, Pink Team, Red Team and Gold team).
- Develop win themes, lead storyboards and identify competitive price to win strategy.
- Oversee small and large proposal submission efforts for state solicitations and position the company for competitive bidding.
- Must be a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible “can do” attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success.
- Must have a proven track record in writing at a professional level and able to produce successful proposals.
- Must be familiar with and able to participate in all aspects of the proposal development process.
- Experience capturing business using various contract vehicles and partnering.
REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive knowledge of the state procurement process
- At least 5 years of business development and capture experience
- Good writing skills
- Healthcare experience
- BS/BA Degree required, MS/MBA is preferred.
- U.S. Citizen
- Excellent organizational communication and planning skills
