As Director of Process and Training, Sara Sami leads strategy development and program execution for Cognosante’s training programs within the Health Data and Communications business unit (HDC). Sara has extensive experience with performance-based learning, workforce engagement. and Business Process Modeling across the health, civilian, and defense pursuits.
Prior to joining Cognosante, she served more than 12 years as a Senior Program Manager, leading programs and managing large contract vehicles at both CSRA and NCI. At NCI she led the Enterprise Learning Group (ELS) and oversaw accounts within the health and defense agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Homeland Security. At SRA she led learning programs for global Enterprise Resource Planning implementations.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a Project Management Professional (PMP).
